Favorite place to workout around Weho!
My wife and I tried Barry's for the first time this morning. I haven't trained in over a week so it was a wake-up call at 7am 😳 the running was tough but I absolutely loved the class. I will be signing up for sure! Great sweat, felt great
The best workout in LA! Girl power!
Great location, corporate branding and focus on health and fitness expanding upon exposure to diet, training styles visually on the TV, providing programs and education to retain and motivate members is lacking, gym organization can use
I am a member of this gym I came here for years I had not come for a few months and now that I come the valet parking has all the parking lot how horrible the truth is that horrible because I came in the afternoon Eh come at 1 in the
This is by far my favorite workout in Los Angeles. All of the instructors are amazing and after 60-min you feel like you've done your workout for the day. You sweat and you work hard; and it always feels like the hardest class you've ever been to. Take your friends and challenge yourselves. You wont regret it!
This is by far my favorite workout class in LA (and I've tried LOTS of them). The front desk staff and the trainers are the nicest, the studio is always clean, and after being a member there for four months, I'm in the best shape of my life. Highly recommended!
I love the energy and community here, that's what matters most and keeps everyone motivated! The trainers are energetic and their workouts are intense but can be made more intense with more weight. I'm sad I had to move away but will proudly wear my Basecamp t-shirt!
Great workout, great staff.
Decent gym but definitely the worst equinox I’ve been to. Really needs a remodel. Often runs out of hand weights and other equipment for classes in the main studio. Main studio floor always seems dirty.
Gorgeous location. Definitely beats anything we have in NYC
The location is great and the staff is friendly. It’s really annoying that they stopped giving towels out though. This was the main selling point. They said it was for environmental reasons but I find this hard to believe. They also raised
For the 2nd time in a month, I’ve been here between their business hours posted on their front entrance and stated via their phone number and both times have been closed far later than their times and name suggest. Make the effort and go to
I train here with Nathan W. He hands down made a major positive influence on my lifestyle. Not only do I enjoy the workouts, but he is highly in tune and motivational. Not to mention I saw results after the first 7 DAYS of working with
Love this place! Great food and great prices!
Retrofit is AMAZING! For the past 6 weeks, I came to just 3 of their HIIT classes per week, followed a very reasonable meal plan given to me at the beginning, and voila! I was able to hit my challenge goal of 20lb and then some. Honestly,
Recently completed the 6 week challenge and the workouts are no joke. HIIT classes are fun and transformed my body. I recommend taking classes with Amber, Jason, Holly, or Sebastian. These trainers helped push me to get the best workout.
Awesome! Freddie is the man true gentleman! I am so proud to have met one of my lifetime heroes..
Big upz to Freddie! ✔️
Great spot. Great ownership. If you're interested in training with the best trainers/athletes around then check out Unbreakable Performance. They feature morning/night bootcamps that are affordable and offer a great workout. Love this place.
It may seem small but it has great equipment, qualified instructors and workout programs according to your needs, definitely the best.
Parking is tough..for this location to be in the heart of Hollywood, I'd expect better equipment and more updated amenities and fixtures. BUT you can still get a great workout on AND they validate!!
most of the staff are friendly and helpful - ideally located, right off the red line
Terrible customer service. I was two minutes late and they gave up my spot. Telling me I had to be at least five minutes early for the class. No call. Nothing. Then told me the class was sold out and I would have to wait to be put on the
I wish they had a reviews/experience forum at Barry’s because there is one person I would like to acknowledge. This person makes everyone’s day better.Tavaris, is the most helpful person I know. He always has a smile on his face. And
This place is great for locals who don’t drive here. The $3 parking weeds out a lot people. It’s never crowded, great views, and the staff is awesome!
Very bad club. Very dirty club. Practical sauna does not work at all. Homeless people come to the sports club. Wardrobes are very old and dirty. Going to such a dirty club is not respecting yourself
Mario sent us! The staff is prejudice against GORGEOUS people! Yes im a man who follows this beautiful human being! Gotta a problem with that? BEWARE!
Emily the owner is very rude and highly unprofessional women. Dont know how to treat their customers. She is rude for no reason. And what's funny all instructors talking sh..it about her behind her back:)) 1 star for old unprofessional women.
I've been a member for many years and I go mostly to this location because of its proximity to my house and also because of its size and choice of equipment. Definitely has everything one would need or expect... It is clean and they
Wonderful StaffI had quite a scare today as I was sure my wallet and keys were stolen from my
I mostly do not recommend this gym. I’ve been with them for 4 years on and off..They have Hidden fees, and once you become a member, they make it extremely hard
Been going to this gym for months now. Only time you don't have to wait in line for every machine is in the first hour they're open or the last hour. Haven't had a good workout yet. Nice facilities but WAY too overcrowded. No problem with a busy gym but when I have to wait for every machine for every workout their is a problem.
I signed up because my fiance did a program at this gym and she recommended to try it for a month. At first, I was sore from head to toe after the first week. I was even told by my trainer to rest because I was so sore. I learned to enjoy
Lift Society, where have you been all my life? I love weight training, but I prefer a communal experience. After getting injured in Crossfit, I bounced between personal training (too expensive) and cardio classes (no gainz).
I’ve been to countless private gyms around town and this is by far the coolest!!! Music and vibe is great and it’s never too crowded. Trainers are hot!🔥🔥🔥
Great Space, Good People, The team that work there are so friendly and chill.I’m using the facility for my recovery program and doing the red light therapy and cryo and love it. Look forward to going back.
