I enjoyed Abol Ethiopian Restaurant very much. We shared a veggie platter and Kitfo (raw meat). I also had a glass of Tej (honey wine). It was all very good. The service is a little slow, so if you are in a hurry this might not be the place for you. I still would recommend it.

Incredibly authentic Ethiopian food. Even better service and people. The sweet owner roasted out coffee beans right in front of us and then served me the best cup of coffee I've ever had! Must GO in Houston!

Stopped in for a quick bite with a date after a walk around downtown Silver Spring. We split the veggie combo with teff injera (for the GF) and a couple of drinks for $40. Great food and good service.

I don't ever recall having eaten Ethiopian food prior to my visit to Abol. So, I can't really compare this to other restaurants with this cuisine. The flavors are unique and savory. The bread they serve with the meal is for sure like none
