Almost always great. If the chicken were consistently great, five stars would be the rating. Staff can sometimes be rude and other times great. The Matador Special is a great value in NYC.
It was good. But as a Dominican I can't fathom paying $6 for a plantain tho haha
Looking for a spot to catch a late dinner @ 10pm on a Sunday night can be disappointing but luckily Pio Pio was still open until 11:00pm. I've been to the other locations in Jackson Heights, Upper East side, and the Midtown West. This
I liked the food but it was too greasy and salty. I loved the house salad. When I went the heater was damaged so it was uncomfortable but the service was not bad and it was fast.
Went here on a random Wednesday night for dinner. It was a 10min wait for 3 people. Got the sangria, chicken platter, plantains and fries (with the hot dogs). All pretty good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and predictably the highlight. Seems like it would be a great place to order takeout from in future too.
Pio Pio is where you should be for flavorful Peruvian style fast food. My old lady and I visited on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately. The space is a bit tight so don't plan a group visit.
An absolute gem. Food is fantastic, abundant and inexpensive. The restaurant is small so you might have to wait for a table. I look forward to going back often.
Tastes like home! Delicious, quick, great service. The Lomo Salteado is outstanding and the spicy green sauce is so good. Please do not miss out.
Amazing food! Amazingly tasty! Amazingly everything! We had the Lomo saltado and I had half a chicken with yellow rice and red beans and a side of salad. The dressing in the salad was tangy, kind of like a garlic/Italian/Caesar vinaigrette
Time and time again you cant go wrong with their lunch special.

Breathtaking views and beautiful upscale restaurant. The food was extremely delicious. Everything just had so much flavor. The service was outstanding. Finally a restaurant I can go to without screaming to have a conversation. By far one of the best in NYC.
A wonderful experience here with my sweetheart. The service is extraordinary. I arrived late due to an accident on the FDR Drive. My company got there before I did but their policy is not to seat the reservations unless the entire party is
This spot is my preferred one. I visit many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the food they offer is so delicious. I am always happy to have a good dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.
I had a pleasant time a this restaurant. I came here for lunch, the food was amazing and delicious. The service was exceptional. The place is pretty big, clean and comfortable. They have a bar and view to the east river. Also, there is
went here restaurant week.. First the restaurant feels like it should be in a Vegas casino or corporate dining hall.. food was poor to mediocre.. very disappointing. Wait staff very sweet and accommodating but insisted we order dessert
Food is excellent. This has become a Christmas Eve tradition. I have dreams of the food here. Staff is friendly. Warm atmosphere.
Always well prepared, presentation is great and food is delicious
Tasty pasta is served here: spaghetti and rigatoni cooked al dente, juicy meat balls in an acidic tomato sauce and the light colored sauce with meat ragout for the rigatoni. I loved the flavors, the textures, the acidity of the sauce and
Excellent meal last Monday night!! We had grilled octopus for appetizer. It was amazing. For main dish, scallops were the star of the meal. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had really good wine. Service was great. I would definitely go back.
Wow having lived in Italy this was not only authentic but my wife, who is gluten free, got to enjoy anything on the menu. They make all pastas and desserts gluten free and they taste amazing. See our photos.
