Excellent Italian restaurant. Went here for dinner and drinks and the service and staff was great. On top of the extensive food menu, they have a long list of specials. Great atmosphere as expected in SoHo. A place not to miss with family,
I tried this spot once with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the great character and flavorful dishes and beverages. Fantastic work.
Wow! Just had the steak for lunch, and it was perfect. The place is classy yet cosy, service is impeccable, Ruben, my waiter, was really nice and professional. I heard that they also are very famous for truffle dishes, gotta have to try dinner too!Food and location are great, just go for it!!
Can’t complain, best restaurant in town. Always a good idea when my friends and family are visiting and I want to impress them about how incredible food, good price and outstanding service can be found in one place. Thank you Zoe, David and Andrea & all the staff for always being so amazing.
Good experience ! i recommend this place. Good restaurant means busy place, so time to wait to have a table. But not too long.
Ok, it's pricey. Let's get that out of the way up front. And several reviews complain about portion size. IMO, portions were just right. Maybe the hostesses were a bit aloof, but doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I came at brunch
Food : GreatFood presentation: Awesome Staff: Professional and friendly
Hands down my favourite place I visited during a recent trip to NYC. Received a recommendation from a local and it did not disappoint! First off, the vibe and staff in here are incredible. They absolutely made both of our visits and went
Went for brunch on a Sunday and it was not too busy - service was lovely and food was excellent. Music is great too. Nice vibes. We ordered the Gem Lettuce Salad, Octopus, Carrots, Chicken Liver, Crab Spaghetti and Crispy Bass - all delightful. Also really enjoyed the Vodka Basil cocktail!!
Come here often. Music is adds to the ambience. Service is top class and the food is always consistently amazing. Farro salad is the best and do not leave without trying the chocolate dessert. Just ask for it they do not have a dessert
Food was amazing. If anyone saying this place is not good then they must of gone where else. Don’t forget to try the Truffle Fettuccine with white cream sauce - that was unbelievable and still craving it.
Had a very pleasant experience on an early Saturday evening. We tried the appetizer plate of meat and cheese and it was very good. The small size is fine and had plenty to share for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Then we had 2 different pasta :
Amazing atmosphere and decor. Had a reservation for 4 at 7pm Friday night. One of the best and softest crusted tuna steaks I've had. Tried the combo of all signature oysters as well. Not a fan of oysters, however these were delicious.
Great atmosphere and service. The entire decor is really tastefully done which is no easy feat when you style a restaurant like a yacht.
Partner and I have been to this location and the one on Spring Street. Always an amazing experience. The small spaces create an unique and familiar ambiance. The service is on point. I believe this place brings the best of Italy in town!
One of the best meals I’ve had in the city. The pasta is made fresh and is to die for, so succulent and huge portions. I took the lobster pasta and was out of this world. The service is incredibly folky and friendly, you really do feel you’re eating at nana’s house.
Came here recently for brunch and had a great meal and experience. The menu is full of many different Mediterranean dishes and a variety of sweets (like chocolate babka French toast). The service was great and the sound track of 90s/ early 2000s pop and R&B hits only added to the experience.
Had a terrific brunch! The decor is beautiful and the service was perfectly done - facilitated a great meal without being overbearing. On our server’s suggestion we shared the cinnamon rolls and they were terrific. Will come back for dinner to try more of the menu
Cocotte is the type of neighborhood restaurant that you will crave coming back to again and again. Excellent food, charming service, and a noticeably handsome staff will keep your spirits high. They have reopened (05/2020) for takeout and delivery - treat yourself to a respite from the house with a visit to this local titan.
Small, cozy spot with great food. We stopped for lunch and had the burger and the basque ham & cheese. We were blown away by how good the meal was. The cocktails and service were good too!
Amazing service, handcrafted cocktails and atmosphere. Best known for their meat plates and happy hour. Nice designer beers on deck and their spicy margarita will erupt your taste buds.
Great ambiance and atmosphere, The food was amazing with over the top service. The hospitality and personable service was better than expected. I had amazing potato bravas, and there was an extensive selection of tapas on the menu. Could
An unassuming little Italian restaurant in Soho with serious taste. We arrived early for our reservation but that wasn't a problem for the manager, he quickly scanned the tables he had and found a cozy spot for us. Our server was polite and
really great food, the pork chop was among the best I've ever had
Delicious food and fantastic selection of Italian wines at a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations (real recommendations, not the expensive dishes).
Food is great. For lunch, if you don't have a reservation, you will either wait a little or aim to come around 2. Staff is very attentive, and friendly. Place is tiny, but very very delicious!
The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. I had the Cape Cod oysters, Bbq Ribs, Pu pu platter, Skate, and the Bruno dessert!! So good. I was with my family we were very happy with the ambience.
Tasty, fresh and unpretentious. What more could one ask for? I didn't order my usual items but just stopped by for a quick bite. Clam stew was perfect for the winter weather. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Calamari was tender and cooked to perfection. A must when visiting NYC. Til next time.
Good food! And a very nice look for the restaurant. The nice window pane ceiling adds a nice touch to the restaurant
Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I had an amazing time! The pesto fettuccine is to die for, literally. Their cocktails are so good and strong... it’s probably because they were all made with makers mark. For big groups, it’s
Meet a friend for brunch. Wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. Knew history of building and designer. My crepe was excellent. Overpriced but isn’t that NY.
We went last weekend for a brunch and the place is very cute and super nice. It has a store right next to it so this is like its cafe. The menu didn’t have that many different options so we ordered crepes. They were not good at all. I couldn’t even finish mine. The drinks were good though.
I celebrated my graduation today in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a brilliant evening and the venue was no doubt the reason for that successful evening. The waiters cooperated in a very nice style, the cooking was
I loved the ambiance here: the jazz music, the old paintings on the brick walls, and overall decor. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. It was a bit loud when everyone was talking at once but I could still hear the beautiful music.
Delicious food... classic Spring St neighborhood delight... best experienced at the bar... table service is fair... food and beverage always spot on and consistent... the people are generally good but that is the variable here... enjoy as you cannot go wrong with the F&B! Enjoy!
What a top notch place! High class environment and atmosphere but down to earth and attentive service. Remember you will need deep pockets, but for memorable experiences Balthazar will not disappoint.
