The Greyhound Cafe- Comfort Food That Gives You Comfort!
Last evening my wife and I had the opportunity to eat at The Greyhound Cafe. We were both pleased with the hospitality of wait staff and owner. We felt welcomed by the team.
I wasn't that impressed, sad to say. We got the "pound of bacon cheese fries", and the large chimichanga. The ($9) fries weren't crispy and the bacon was just bacon bits. The chimi was good, but we ordered beef (as reflected on receipt)
Wow. Best food I’ve had in YEARS eating out. This place is amazing. No where else in Philly has a menu like this. Best food I’ve had dining out (vegan or otherwise) in years.
Love this place. Vegan comfort food at it’s best. Their sliders are the best I’ve ever had. Their wings have won in competitions against real wings.
Our favorite spot for vegan comfort food in Philadelphia! We love that it's near the city without being too far into the chaos of center city. Parking is usually pretty easy in the area! Rafael has been our server most of the time, we
Service was great, food was sooo good. Only managed to grab a picture of the second round: pancakes! Coffee was excellent, too!
Best vegan place I have ever been to! I'm obsessed with the seitan wings and fried banana dessert. The staff is so friendly. My only complaint is that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays because I would probably be there every Tuesday before work :)
My wife and I went there today for the first time after having sampled their wings at a Vegfest. All of the food we had was absolutely amazing, as was the cold brew coffee. Our server was also super friendly and knew a lot about the menu. Nothing bad to say! Definitely will return!
A vegan friend invited us to lunch the other day. My wife and I had our first experience in this type of cuisine. We shared three different plates. They were all wonderful.
Can't rave enough about this place. So far I have had pancakes, burger and wings and everything was so delicious. The cafe itself is small but cozy with high tables and a bar. Joe the owner is friendly and loves showering attention on his

Sat in during the SuperBowl. Food was great and speedy even though the employees were working hard. Plan on coming back soon.
Great service, not a lot of room but the food was good.
Excellent NY style pizza. Fresh taste and good size slices.
AMAZING! One of the best pizzas ever. Everything looked so good, I couldn't help but ordered way too much. The Caprese salad was so good. It was served on a bed a fresh, crisp romaine lettuce, topped with plump and juicy grape tomatoes
Ordered 2 large pizzas today. ..asked for 1 to be half pepperoni & half mushroom. .came as half just cheese & half pepperoni AND mushroom. .asked for very well done and they were not...looks like new guy there...we have gone for years and 1st time dissappointed... Luigi, where are you. Check in a little more.
Great setting in a lovely old atmospheric building, good food and attentive staff. A real "find" in Philly!
Excellent place. Good service. The complimentary biscuits are amazing. Definitely recommend for a sit-down meal or a quick drink and bite at the bar. Right across from the eastern state penn museum. Walking distance to downtown
Excellent food and atmosphere! We were a fairly large group on a very busy day, but the staff was extremely accommodating. The drink selection was good, and the food was fantastic. This is a great place to sample crab, tuna, or catfish
I think this place has one of the coolest atmospheres in the city with their giant open front doors, perfect for the summer. Definitely a must try for anyone who loves brunch, and lives around Fairmount. They have a nice brunch Menu with
We had an excellent experience here and would recommend this for anyone looking for an upscale dinner. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. We got our food at a nice pace. And everything was delicious. The only real complaint was that the butter was a little hard.
