This is simply the best salsa you can get in the bay. The enchiladas were so good... I actually ate so much I was kinda waddling.I'm not saying it's so good I could eat myself to the point my lungs couldn't
Their Salsa and chips are amazing. We were promptly served our drinks with them upon sitting down at our table. They use corn tortillas for their street tacos which is way different from what I'm used to being served on flour tortillas.
Great restaurant really friendly service!! Going for lunch was nice we got to sample a lot of the menu with half orders :) our favorites were the cabbage rolls which have an awesome tangy sauce and some heavy hitting flavorful spices with
Unwelcoming environment. The waitress, young blond lady, showed very poor customer service skills. She simply didn’t care about the clients,Including us. We felt very rushed. Perhaps, because we are Slavic as she is.
this place is overrated and even more overpriced. the drinks are fine but the food is very meh. the chef seems to go crazy with the seasoning. the tuna tartar we had was drowning in soy sauce and the fried anchovy stuffed olives were so
Fantastic food, service and ambience. Chef John Thiel catered our private party a few years back and it was beyond amazing. We have also had many great diners at Pappo.
Here is a pub that is all the goodness you could imagine in a pub. Super friendly staff. Great pub food selection and bar staff that will cure your thirst. You can tell it a locals hangout too. It why we want to go out to Pubs.

I hate to leave tepid reviews but Ive just not been a fan. The prices seem very expensive for an East Bay place, the food was good but nothing extraordinary and the lines LONG. Went for my birthday, had a nice enough time but walked away not super impressed. Sorry!
My six year old granddaughter loves spicy food. She specifically wanted spicy noodle soup, she normally wants veggies in it but her goal was to get spicy noodle soup. So, we had a time picking a place to eat.
I came to Alameda from San Diego just to have a more flavorful Chinese food. And East Ocean never disappoints! Servers ever so happy to serve you. Such a great vibe to eat here! Stay in business forever so my trip to the Bay Area is worth going to each time.

Delicious Nashville hot fried chicken, crispy fries with a fluffy interior and loads of garlic. Great pit stop. They don't have much seating available but if you're all over 21 you can grab a beer and sit next door or, weather permitting, sit out front.
The staff was awesome and really nice. We wanted to try it from the show. Dont get me wrong. The food was good. But it is definitely NOT worth the price it costs. I feel a bit ripped off.
A decent dinner, but the value didn't match the price or expectation. The warm focaccia is a very nice touch. Duck strudel was accompanied by a sauce I'd almost classify as jarring- overly tart and not blending well with the dish. On the

Fantastic energy and service, great wine recommendation, lovely people who love what they do.
"Hidden" gem of Alameda. Not so hidden because they are really popular and at the local mall. Hard to get a table without reservations on a busy weekend. Weekdays are a bit easier. But make no mistake, this is one of the best authentic
Every detail accounted for. From an outside glance you may ask yourself is this it? One almost would say the restaurants outward appearance appears to be like that of a speakeasy. When you walk in the door and get seated be prepared for a
