This place changed my life. I only did cardio work before this place, and after the first class I realized how weak I am. I also learned that I hate burpees, but who doesn't? The owner, Matt, is super nice and his dog, Solo, is to die for.
Great community atmosphere. Top tier trainers and hard but rewarding drop in classes.
This place will make you sweat, your legs burn and your arms tremble. It's a little terrifying the first time, but if you want to sculpt your body, this is the real deal. The place is incredibly friendly and the small size means lots of
Simply put, move-sf has the best group fitness classes in the city (and possibly Northern California). The classes are challenging, adaptable for all fitness levels and incredibly fun. The small class sizes (most classes max out at around 9
Great workout sessions, always difficult and interesting. Good atmosphere and a personal touch. Solo, the owner's dog, is the cutest dog you will meet
The place is looking run down. This location use to be top notch about 5 years ago. They do have a brand new power lifting station that is great.
It is what it is. You have a huge gym for a competitive and low price. Yes, machines break and it takes time for repairs. Other than that it services my needs and the staff have always been kind and respectful towards me. It's not perfect, by any means, but it's my gym and I'm grateful to have it.
Spacious but a bit dirty, with a lot of older equipment. I kinda like that you have to go up a few flights of stairs before working out here though haha, it's a nice warm-up.
I like this location. Staff is nice always. And its fairly clean for the gym that customers are obviously don’t care and trash every day... People wake up! You just trash the place and expect workers to run around and clean your butts?! I
Nice place to workouts. I love it😍
When are you guys going to fix the internet? It’s like a dungeon. neither no service nor internet at all. What takes so long if just a few signal extender can solve the problem? ——UPDATE: yes internet is very important at the gym and thank
I've been coming to this gym since it opened in SF. The cost is reasonable for having all the necessary cardio and lifting equipment, plus the pool, sauna, steam room. The place is clean and well maintained.
I really look forward to coming to this gym! The staff are friendly and helpful, and you are always greeted with a smile. The equipment is new and if a machine doesn't work, it get fixed quickly. One of the best highlights is that's it's
My first class a woman fell and hurt her ankle but because the instructor was all the way on the other side of the class it took her a while to even notice...and that was with us trying to call her over. REGARDLESS, it's a great place with
I have been coming here for a few months to use the pool at off-peak hours and everything has been fine. Changing areas are clean, and they recently replaced the old shower heads with better ones, which I appreciate 👍
Well equipped, clean facilities. Motivating, knowledgeable trainers. Many weight racks, friendly staff and clients.
This is our regular gym and it has gotten a bit more packed recently due to all of the 2020 Resolutioners, but people are willing to share Squat racks/Olympic weightlifting spaces so that is helpful. There's a space for doing pliometric
I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and find 6 power racks, with Rogue and Texas power barbells and plates, in addition to all the machines you expect. About as good as you could hope for as a lifter.
Very crowded after work. 4 big multi station squat racks but only two flat benches and no incline bench. Minimal open floor space.
Awesome workout spot. Lots of equipment, free weights, punching bags, great staff
Adequate neighborhood gym with a pair of squat racks and supply of free weights. No dedicated rack for incline, decline or standard bench press. Adjustable benchs can be wheeled into squat racks for chest work. There's a trap bar too with
Great little gym for a cheap membership rate. Don't expect a ton of weights (some machines) but treadmills and such. Some good classes. Really calm and family-oriented place
Great communication and service
If you come to this gym and need any help at all with info about signing up or their deals make sure to ask for Victoria! The nicest person I've encountered there she is awesome helped me so much in the discussion about prices and deals and took time to answer all of my questions!!! VERY helpful:)
Great workout. Recommend for a solid core and full body workout.
Great class - I love the low impact workouts that are truly full body. The instructors are helpful with modifications and class sizes are ideal so you can check your posture in the mirror
Favorite workout class in the city
Three years ago, I started seeing Tammy when I was engaged and looking to get into shape for my wedding. Back then she was doing fitness sessions on Polk Street, in a gym that was so-so (her training sessions were fantastic!). This year,

I’m a trainer here in the city. I’ve used several different studios and things to train my clients, but Eden is top notch. It’s always clean. Has everything I need. My clients always prefer to train at Eden. I love that it’s female focused,
If you have a high standard for workout spaces like I do (I had a bad skin infection from a different gym!), then Eden Gym is the place for you. It is EXTREMELY CLEAN. Tammy is great because she pushes me but not in a drill-sergeant kind of
Eden Fitness Studio is truly incredible! It’s a gorgeous, female-focused space with the highest quality equipment and an environment that’s refreshing, relaxing, and conducive to an amazing workout every time. I can’t recommend the studio
Love love love Public Recreation! I love the sweat that cardio gets me so never really do weights on my own; this is the perfect combo of strength and cardio in a super supportive environment. All the instructors are fantastic and meet you at whatever level you’re at. Can’t recommend enough!
Outdoor gym in the heart of Hayes Valley for only $50/month. This is about as good as it gets when it comes to pricing to work out in San Francisco! Brand new company so they're still building out the schedule. Have a handful of
Super friendly group, very fun and social. Good mix of cardio and weights, lots of times to meet.
Great instructors. Great range of classes. I take the classes at Waterfront Plaza. They are small so you get a lot of attention.
Awesome location for training. Excellent equipment and great trainers in a professional atmosphere.
