The food was great but the service ruined the whole dinner! First, we were ignored as soon as they sat us on a table. My husband and I had to keep getting their attention, just to place an order. Next, when we finally got our food, the

Traditional Chinese dishes. Steamed Catfish with Black bean and Garlic sauce, the other is chopped pork with dry duck liver.

This Chinese food should be modified recipe that more fit in American’s taste. Everything is so so, service is OK level. The floor is little bit dirty and slippery. I may not come back but my American colleagues all said high on it. So, just a reference.

We came in and was seated fairly quickly, (food pics out front looked great but the aroma of deliciousness lured us in) ordered fried onion cake, veggie dumplings, sweet and sour soup and veggie fried rice! Everything was tasty and well

My husband and I went to this place to see our friends from Maryland. He found this place as the most delicious dumplings in SF I'm not sure about the tile. Anyway where are the soup in the dumplings lol no soup. We also order a spicy

Food is authentic. The owners are nice. Would recommend

Excellent dim sum! I liked everything I tried there, especially the soup dumplings. Their chili oil is delicious too. The place is small and fills up quick so try and go early if you’re going for dinner.

Gavin
Great spot for affordable dim sum ... need to know how to speak some mandarin ... just kidding they’ll help you even in English ... it’s cash only so keep that in mind ... don’t miss out on the rice noodle dishes or you’ll be playing your

My son loves eating early morning dim sum on Sunday morning, when we visit New Fortune Restaurant in San Francisco, California. I fly into town to see my son on Sundays. We love New Fortune's dim sum because all the children come there.

Mark
Basic in appearance and with limited seating we had to wait 5 mins for a table. Once seated, we ordered 3 dishes (all pictured),beef noodle soup, beef cho fun and Peking spare ribs. The ribs were quite sweet but delicious, and next time I

I’d give it a 4.5 if I could, service was great and the food came quickly after we ordered. The food was very good for the most part but the calamari was extremely salty. The glazed cod however stole the show, it was cooked to perfection

The wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. We ordered the orange chicken (we will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu; wanted to play it safe for the first visit just in case). So much flavor in all the dishes. Well worth the trip across town.

Best Peking duck I've ever had highly recommend staff was friendly

Carl
Just got some Dim Sum, watching main dishes come out of the kitchen tells me we should come back for them. They do not have table side dim sum service, took a while for our orders to come. The black bean chicken feet were excellent! The

Food and service both good. Ate here with out of town family with 3 kids . Most dishes family style or hot pot. The beef noodle soup was fabulous so were the sesame chicken and the garlic pork. Casual dining for good value.

I would think the price vs quality ratio is pretty impressive, it could be higher end but given the service and flavor I will not complain about decoration details. Dishes were at its glance, it well deserves above 4 stars. That would be a be back place for me . Recommend.

Matthew
I've been here multiple times and always feel welcome and full when I leave

Asha
Pure authentic cuisine. This is a no frills place but the food is that GOOD! They understand the use of salt and msg does not equate flavor so nothing is ever overseasoned or salty. We had the crab wonton which didn't have hardly any

I would give Chong Qing Xiao Mian six stars, but five will do. The service is so quick, the food is amazing and on top of that, its super affordable! I would definitely recommend the sweet and sour ribs. The sauce is absolutely delicious.

Nikki
The picked beef soup was phenomenal. Incredible spot! It's small, but we got seated right away. Really nice people too. Definitely coming back.

Carol
Nice place for getting dim sums at great price. We were a group of seven-eight and we ate for less than 15$ each (including drinks) when ordering the dim sum sets. It may take a while to get your order ready but it’s worth the wait!

Located in Chinatown this restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. The quality and taste of each dish is always on point. This is a large restaurant with two floors to serve guests. The staff is very attentive and speak English well. Their menu is on the pricey side of the table though but worth of an occasional visit.

Came here for the first time for my friend's birthday. I'm so glad we chose this restaurant! It was packed on a Monday night, but also very lively. From the outside you wouldn't expect this restaurant to be like a marketplace. The servers

Yummy food but service was way too slow! We enjoyed the food here, few twists on the classics. Staff were all very

Richard
Taste is good but they only have one table inside. Best for on the go while walking around or take home.

Tamy
This is definitely my go-to place for steamed dim sum. The dim sum are refined, and it has lots of delicious fillings (bite size shrimp, chives, cilantro, etc). The dough is not too thick, unlike other dim sum places that have really thick

Remember that place your parents took you when you were little and all you really knew was that the broccoli actually tasted good there and that fortune cookies were delicious? This is that place! As an adult, I get it now...it's all delicious!

Tatiana
So authentic!!!!! First time in SF who cares if it was cloudy. Cuz hot tea, a hot meal, & hot Sake to the rescue! Love the little details of the Chinese calendar. Tea was served INSTANTLY, & despite how busy they were the food came

I have always want to visit this store but there is always long queue. We went there at 8:30, and got a table right away. The spicy Beef and spicy chicken were pretty good, the rest met my expectation

Heather
The food was amazing! Good place to go if you like spicy Asian cuisine. There's no reservations and I only waited about 10 minutes to be seated because they give you the option to share a table if you don't mind sitting with strangers.

Steve
Yelp reviews are praising this place. I tried it and its not that great... you can see all the mold on the window that they cover with green film but once you put a flashlight on the area you will see all the nasty mold. At least I didn't get sick from eating here.

Hands down the best dim sum restaurant in the city! I finally got to try out Good Mong Kok and can happily say it's worth the hyper. The dim sum is so delicious and reasonably priced. They can easily charge more if they wanted but I'm very glad it's so cheap! Definitely come here with an empty stomach. You will want to try everything!

This is one of old Chinese restaurants in San Francisco. I had fried rice and salt and pepper tofu. The food was good and the service was quick. You can get free hot tea.

Samantha
This place has been there for 108 years! It was delicious to say the least. Quick and cozy. It was nice to get in and chow then go back to the new year parade!
