While pancakes are the main draw here, you'll find plenty to like (I recommend the eggs Benedict if you aren't feeling pancakes). The servers were friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Oh wow - the food here is SO good! The four of us are here for Sunday Brunch, and we all loved what we ordered. For me, my mimosa was perfect, and was great paired with my Country Breakfast. Don't assume the Griddle Cake is "just" a pancake - it's so much more, and the perfect way to end my brunch. We will definitely be back!
The only salad I'll ever buy. I don't find the customer service to be the best (yes, I did leave a tip),but honestly, who cares! The food is delicious and their portions very generous. I recommend the lamb salad, as well as the fries. My partner gets the vegetarian salad and loves it!
Great place to spend your lunch time Sunday or any other day for that matter. Line went out the door but it went relatively quickly. Seating is self serve as well as the water. Quaint warm atmosphere. Both bowls were filled with fresh and flavorful ingredients and a hearty portion for the $12-$13 price.
Service was good. The loudness was so off-putting to me we nearly left but the host was able to seat us in a somewhat quieter back room. Our food came quickly. My DH ordered the potato pancakes and applesauce. “Not as good as my grandma made, but good.” We are glad we went.
I have eaten here a couple of times before a symphony performance, and it’s an incredibly fun place to eat and drink when it’s busy (and I’m not even a fan of being in crowds). The food and beer is fantastic, and the servers are very friendly, making it a fun experience.
This place is hands down the best. I totally recommend the chefs choice nigiri as it comes with numerous gratis pairings like oysters and yakiniku. I would recommend sharing the nigiri and then getting maybe two more nigiri and a roll.
The food was fresh and delicious. The service extremely courteous.
I wish there were more stars. Bar Crudo never disappoints. The happy hour menu is so amazing but do not miss out on the rest. Probably the best octopus dish I have ever had. Most chefs just braise and slap it on a salad. Chef Athman
It is an amazing place and I will be definitely back! Crudo to share and lobster salad were delicate, fresh and melted in my mouth. Go there it you love seafood, wine and seamless service
I recently visited this place and I really like it. I didn't disappoint me at all. It was bit crowded. Parking is bit tight around but it's right by the light rail station. I'm not fan of flavored beer but they have a great food for reasonable prices. I love their outside sitting area. Very romantic.
Nice food - good portions. But quite pricey - nearly $40 for two salads and fries. But you get big portions (compared to the UK). The lamb could have been a bit more harissa-y and the chicken was slightly on the drier side, but both were
Had a very good experience here with my girlfriend. The food was served quickly and the service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.
Super dining experience. Superb wine tasting. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the two bread courses and the housemade “funions.” I’m not sure the dinner and experience was worth the cost of the NYE pricing, however.
Holy moly! Eat here!!! So so good. Food was fresh and so so delicious. We were in San Francisco for a week and of all the places we visited this stands out the most. I'm still drooling. Best fried chicken I've ever had!!!
The coffee was extremely bold. I was not aware that it was not any other coffee options. The waiter kindly got me a water. I had the special 3 way a pork shoulder with 3 sides, as well as other dishes. The sides were a portion for a child.
Great restaurant because of the wine, food and service. Staff were busy but attentive. Its a bit loud inside on a busy night and probably not the best location for those who are a bit hard of hearing BUT the food was excellent, including desserts - we will be back!
It was a good meal, and the staff were all super nice. The space is cute and has a nice light coming in through the back. Nice selection of wine taps.
Price quality ratio is unbeatable. Pretty easy to make last minute reservations. I was able to get a seat for 2 at the sushi bar a day before.
I love their lunch special for Sushi! Good portion with many different Sushi^_^ recommended to go there early 1130am so you don't have to wait too long. If you are rush to somewhere you may seat sushi bar with minimum 4order sushi ^^
Great food, friendly service and very good portions. I had the bibimbap with a poached egg and marinated beef and it was truly delicious. We'll be back!!
Good service, portions are generous
My new favorite brunch spot in the city because the food here is delicious and addicting. You must try their SWINE MORNING PIZZA($20) and MILLIONAIRE'S MELT($20),it's really great! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. We will definitely be back here soon!
We went there at 9:15 so didn’t wait at all, which was a big plus to this experience. Their signature bacon (in the background of the picture :p) was really special. It’s a bit too spicy for my but my friends loved it. The food was good and reasonable priced!
Loved the place. Delicious handmade exquisite Nigiris were outstanding. To top off they ended the meal with toasted brown rice ice cream. I have never had dessert this good before. Highly recommended!
The food is a disappointment, only few sushi pieces are acceptable, while most are over seasoned and unprofessional:1. Drip of lemon juice on the majority of sushi served, the fish is already
It was very nice dishes. But I wonder why beets salad presentation was one side dish up?? Other than that good attention of staffs and dish presentation.
Food was great. Desserts were particularly delicious. Server wasn't amazing and we needed to remind about our drinks.
These guys really love what they do and speak of creation of their restaurant as it truly is their child. They renovated the space from scratch with their own hands and did a great job! Service was warm and personal. Please note that you
One of the best meals I've had in a while, the menu combined innovative flavors with absolutely beautiful presentations. The quality was consistent throughout each course and we appreciated that dishes were not over salted --it was
A perfect meal. The squid ink pasta was one of the best things I've eaten. I happened to be dining solo and the server was kind enough to mention that they can do half portions of a lot of menu items. That allowed me to try a whole lot more of the menu. Shout out to Alexei!
This place is just wonderful - creative and innovative, with each dish coming out as a completely surprising explosion of flavor and textures. From the flatbread roti, to the rather superstar duck dishes, this place has it all. The service
Super ambiance, sitting at the bar has a great feel, the bar tenders are very good hosts. It can get a little noisy though. The food has creative and tasty options. The rotate and change quite often, especially their flatbed which are all quite good
Nopa goes down as one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I used to live a few blocks away and at this point I must have been at least 20 times. Their cocktails and food are always solid. The dishes change based on the season so
Fun dinner spot for drinks and some less than traditional Japanese dishes. Go with a group of friends or take your date there. Good sake selection! 🍶
Decent food, the chicken katsu was a bit lacking in flavor.
Loved all the dishes. Creatively plated and exceptional flavors. Cozy Intimate seating ...reminds me of the smaller places I've been to in Japan. 8 course set menu. Highly recommend and don't forget to make a reservation!
Best kaisrki stye restaurant in San Francisco. I have experience with kaiseki style at traditional Japanese ryokan in Japan and the meal and sake selection were as good!
Just ate here. Glad we took a chance. Excellent service. California roll, seaweed salad made fresh and yummy. Miso soup broth hot and comforting. We also tried the shrimp tempura. No dipping sauce needed...delicious. Will be back.
This is it. The small self start sushi eatery that wants to impress, and does...
